Job opportunities in the fields of translation, editing and proofreading

We welcome applications from translators, editors and proof readers with the following profile:

  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish or Swedish. Applicants must be proficient in at least two of the aforementioned languages and accurately translate between them. Ideally, they should also have a deep understanding of the cultures and contexts in which those languages are used.
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively in both the source and target languages is crucial. The ideal candidate must be able to convey the meaning accurately and clearly, while also understanding the nuances of the original text.
  • Outstanding IT skills: Applicants should have prior knowledge of CAT/QA tools but graduates can also learn on the job. MS Office skills is a must.
  • Attention to detail: We require a high level of attention to detail to ensure that the final product is accurate and error-free.
  • Excellent grammar and punctuation skills: Excellent grammar and punctuation skills are essential to create high quality documents that are easy to read and understand.
  • Cultural knowledge: Understanding the cultural context of the source and target languages is necessary for accurate translation. This includes knowledge of idioms, expressions, and cultural references.
  • Research skills: Ability to research and understand unfamiliar terminology or concepts in order to accurately translate them.
  • Time management: Meeting deadlines is essential for successful projects.
  • Continuous learning: Language and culture are constantly evolving, and a translator must be committed to continuous learning to stay up-to-date and improve their skills.
